IN THE HEART OF AIX LES BAINS TOWN CENTRE
In the heart of the Rhône-Alpes region, between lake and mountains, the Grand Hôtel du Parc in Aix-les-Bains is a true jewel of the hotel industry. The theme of the floor can be read as soon as the lift door opens. The framed portraits on the walls sometimes reveal a film star, sometimes a star of the music scene.
On the first floor is L’Élégante, inspired by Audrey Hepburn, Hubert de Givenchy and Coco Chanel. White and black dominate, bringing sobriety and calm. The lines are sleek and clean, creating structure and personality. The parquet floor is reminiscent of warm leather. Mouldings and alcoves anchor the history of this 19th-century building. Refined, L’Élégante imposes chic through simplicity and contrast.
On the second floor, L’Extravagante welcomes you to its sparkling, colourful galaxy. Pierre Cardin, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Andy Warhold inspire this universe. Bright blue and orange dominate the decor and accessories. The design of the 60s and Pop Art instil a slightly eccentric personality in the shapes and materials that play on the mouldings and other historical codes of the premises.
The third floor is the realm of La Voluptueuse, inspired by Balmain, Dior, Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron. On the floor, the thick, silky carpeting creates a feeling of pleasure. The velvets are generous, and the brass details and bold colours add a touch of playfulness.
Under the roof, the fourth and top floor, with its mansard roof, is the setting for La Bohème. This is the world of Jacquemus, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin. The unashamedly natural materials harmonise with the exposed beams of the roof structure. They inspire the colours, in shades of beige, creating a gentle serenity.

Each room or suite is different and offers excellent 4-star comfort, inspired by the codes of 5-star hotels. More than a hotel, Le Grand Hôtel du Parc is a true home from home. Catherine AITIS dreamt it up and designed it as her second home.
Each decorative element has been meticulously chosen by him. All the facilities, from the bedroom to the bathroom, are there to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
From rooms to suites, whatever the style, the furniture has been made to measure locally. Depending on your choice of booking from our 7 categories, 4 room categories and 3 suite categories, you can enjoy the pleasure of an excellent night’s sleep in a queen-size or king-size double bed, or comfortable twin beds.
Of course, today’s historic charm cannot be achieved without the very best technology. There’s also free, secure, high-speed wifi everywhere, so you can stay connected to the internet whenever you want. In the bedrooms, flat-screen TVs are equipped so you can watch your own content as well as the many channels on offer.

For families, we also offer on the 4th floor: 2 rooms in the Comfort and Deluxe categories with separate living rooms, connected by a common corridor, thus creating a large family suite with 2 truly independent bedrooms.
OUR SUITES
The east-facing rooms and suites let you soak up the morning sun, while those on the upper floors allow you to admire Mont Revard. Those facing west towards Mont du Chat enjoy views over the gardens and the setting sun. Due south, here’s the bright light! And on the first floor, the 2 bedrooms and the suite each have their own fully-equipped terrace.
Many of our 28 rooms and suites have a balcony. If the panorama is important during your stay, opt for the third and fourth floors, which offer unobstructed or panoramic views.
The bathrooms vary, from walk-in showers to baths… some with island baths, others with separate baths and showers.
Are you staying with your family?
Our rooms sleep up to 3, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed or 3 single beds.
Our spacious suites are particularly well-suited to guests, thanks to their lounge area equipped with a convertible sofa bed. Our 3rd floor suite offers two totally independent spaces, each with its own bathroom.
On the fourth floor, we can also offer you two private Comfort and Deluxe rooms with a shared entrance and separate living room, giving you the opportunity to enjoy your stay in complete privacy.

The centrepiece is an incredible chandelier, custom-made by a local ceramist to evoke the petals of the garden’s magnolia flowers and the birds of our beloved lake.

Sports enthusiasts will love the counter-current swimming and the television screen, which offers the option of independent aquagym classes.
The mosaic jacuzzi can accommodate up to 6 people. The sauna, renowned for its stress-relieving properties, completes the range of relaxation facilities on offer. In-room or private massages can also be booked in advance.

Another place of connection and well-being, Les JARDINS D’EVA. An island of greenery between the two buildings, this is the central patio where the summer garden, like an intimate square with its trees and fountain, and the winter garden with its fireplace and smoking room, follow one another.
The gardens are the ideal place to enjoy breakfast, but also to finish your meal with a coffee, an infusion or a spirit. The summer garden is truly unique. It’s an extension of the M. CHARLES lounge-bar.
