M. CHARLES is the concrete expression of Catherine AITIS’ personal desire to offer Aix les Bains a new address that is elegant, cosy, welcoming and gourmet. To offer a lifestyle experience that evolves with the day, the evening and the mood.
Located in the heart of the city, the restaurant offers a chic, delicately hushed atmosphere, opening onto rue de Chambéry and rue Sommeiller. Very rare in the city centre, it also offers an intimate summer garden and terrace on sunny days, shaded by trees and canopies.
This house is not a café, it’s not a bar, it’s not a cocktail bar, it’s not a brasserie, it’s not a restaurant, it’s not a tea room… depending on the time of day and night, it’s all of these things at the same time!
The little brother of the LEO-PAUL restaurant, M. CHARLES has its origins in the same desire of Catherine AITIS: to entertain to your heart’s content.
Mr. CHARLES offers to live throughout the day an evolving experience, to have fun with classic dishes revisited and quality straight out of the kitchen of Chef Nancia ANDRIANTSALAMA, to discover reassuring or unusual flavors, in a comfortable setting, a welcoming and elegant atmosphere… and of course a friendly atmosphere.

Afternoon tea and activities from 15:00:
– For moms: self-massage course & buffet snack: 35€
– For children (12 years maximum): Yoga with Le Yoga des Loupiots & Snack buffet: 25€
– For accompanying persons: snack buffet €15 for adults and €10 for children

In the morning, the day begins with the sweetness of a hot drink, the energy of a good fruit juice and the delicacy of pastries and cakes… At lunchtime, the menu takes on a brasserie feel with suggested dishes and, depending on the fresh seasonal produce, salads, bowls and soups. Not forgetting the sweet treats…
